I never used to be a list person or someone who wrote things down. In the last year, however, I have turned into an OCD list obsessed individual!
I think we have so much going on, and I am so afraid I am going to forget something. So I make lists of the necessary things, but now I've found I even like making lists for the weekends. I put down everything in the world I may want to get done.....of course not everything does, but it gives me a feeling of accomplishment to check little tasks off the list.
Lately, I have been getting most of the essentials done but not the extras. The nook in the corner that needs decluttered. All those Pinterest recipes and organization tips that aren't getting done. Workout goals - and now my mini pledges.
If I write it down, I don't forget it, and I get the satisfaction of checking things off - or seeing a bunch of things undone - at the end of the week.
So here it is (in no particular order)
Run 28 miles, including 3 key workouts from FIRST
Hit the gym for at least 1 spin class and 1 Body Pump class
Create a snack bin in the fridge so the kids have easy access to snacks
Make these bread bowls for breakfast (or dinner??)
Fulfill my week 1 mini pledge
Find the floor of my closet
Declutter my corner nook
Get ready for school to start (16th - eep!)
Get plans made for soon to be 8 yr olds bday party
Keep up on the laundry, so I don't have as much to do this weekend
Run a 5k with soon-to-be 8 yr old
That's the list! What do you hope to accomplish this week??
