Another busy week down. Work is burying me, I have run 47 miles this week, and we put on another youth xc event. Whew!
This is what I am expecting in the Prudent Produce bin this week. Remember you can find past posts easily on Pinterest.

White Kiwi Sangria - thanks Lisa for passing along this yummy drink recipe! She took it to a party recently and reported back that this was a huge hit.
Acorn Squash - my mom makes the best squash, she simply cuts it in half, scoops out seeds, puts a tbsp of butter, a tbsp of brown sugar, and a slice of raw bacon in the center. Roast it in the oven for 45 minutes @ 400 degrees. I even eat this, although I am technically vegetarian, I just remove the bacon after cooking.
Kiwiberry, Kumquat & Pomegranate Kanten - a homemade jello of sorts, this recipe is beautiful and looks delicious.
Broccoli Cheese Soup - after spending two hours running before the sun came up, and then standing out in the freezing wind trying to convince 3 yr olds that it was a good idea to leave their parents warm laps to play soccer, nothing sounds better than a comforting warm bowl of soup!
Risotto with Beet Greens & Beets - nice to find a recipe that makes use of both the beets and the greens. Don't be intimidated by risotto - it's not as high maintenance as it has a reputation for.
Spicy Brown Sugar Carrots - another great fall flavor recipe using apple cider and pumpkin pie spice to bring a fall flavor to these carrots.
